Hi guys,
I recently had an x ray done on my back stiffness, and I was surprised to note that my spinal is slightly misaligned, and that the compression of the nerves and muscle as a result gave me that stiffness.
As a result, I went to the Chiropractor, who explained the long term effect of spinal compression damage.
I now know that spinal misalignment occured when we exerted ourselves under bad postures, and the alignment will not be self adjusting, resulting in the fact that we may have to endure the problem under increasing degree until permanent damage occured, that is when the spinal joint are worn our as a result.
I don't know how to explain this under medical term, but I know, our spinal is the central column where our nerves and muscle tissue attached and run through, so you know once there is misalignment the effect can be serious.
So take care of your back, check on on exercises or devices that will help you with the posture and spine alignment.
I am booking a series of treatment with the Chiropractor, got myself an inverter to work out. Alternatively, you can use a head strap.
Whatever guys, just take care of your posture when you do your daily chores, take care of your spine!

For the benefit of our members, I have added a few more links under the link page.
New links include: Martial Arts stretching, Fight Science and Exercise Biology.
Fight Science is from the National Geographic Fight Science series which I think is beneficial on the science and comparison of martial art, it is purely information.
For the martial arts stretching and exercise biology, i personally feel it is beneficial for practioners of martial arts to avoid and prevent long term injuries, and for those already had such injuries, hopefully the series of exercise may help recovery process.
Hope you all find it useful.

Hi all,
I want to share with you a wish a few of us came up with, and we really hope there is enough support and legworks done for the plan.
We would like to look at a gym for the senior belters, or something like a Black Belt Club.
As you are are aware, we have trainings now squarely in the weekends only.
Being a senior member of the club, by now, most of us would be married, settled down and have a family to look after or entertain during the weekends. that made turning up for training very difficult.
The idea here is to set up a gym, with basic weights, treadmill, and of course the punching bags, speed bags etc...
Make it 2 - 3 times a week where we gather for a chat, light work out have a drink and watching fight videos.
We can work out at our own pace, within our capabilities.
Look guys, you all had had your fights for the club already, some many times,so nothing more to prove, just turn up to friends and the exercise.
I long for a place where our members can be around, and even our overseas members can drop by to catch up.
So, what you all say we go and get it done?

The headline says it!
Yes, we have successfully migrated into the new Domain, and now we are http://www.sancheendo.org, minus all the advertisements, and is a full fledge site from now on.
With this, we hope to broaden our club appeal, and to reach out to members of the club.
Non practising members are also welcomed to join us to exchange ideas and pointers, and who knows, you may visit us in Singapore someday!
For those of you who can understand mandarin, I have searched for and located an article about our Grand Master, Quek Yong How in a Chinese Martial Arts blog, I have since copy and paste it, included is the link if you would like to look at the site.

Hi members,
After a trial period, I find that webs.com is really good enough, and as such, I have upgraded our site from a free site to a paid site. I have registered the site under the domain: http://www.sancheendo.org, and is waiting for the transfer from the previous domain to the new one.
One things for sure, we do away with the niggling ads.
So hopefully you all will appreciate the upgrade.
Thank you.

Had a meeting with Master Teo, and the summary of the meeting:
We discussed broadly on the listed matters, and also importantly, acknowledging the lack of facility and space in Block 803 Jalan Besar.
Will work with other members to see if we can resolve the matters and to push for the activities listed in the discussion.

Hello all,
I have been looking at the sites and youtube in particular, and had discovered alot of postings in relation to Wu Zu (Ngo Chor/ Five Ancestor) boxing.
As such I created a special San Cheen Video page with links to the initially only San Chiem/ San cheen sites.
But browsing through, I discovered more interesting links, especially there is a wealth of video postings in relation to Wu Zu boxing, I have since added to the Video Link page.
Hope all of you like it.
Please do not gripe about the pictures, why I chose to take them out of the annuals, this is supposed to be an unofficial site, and i am practically working alone here, so please, give me some leeways as far as this is concern.
I am happy to accept more members of the club to join in, so that I can make more of you admin, and thus relieve me of the burden of being the only one updating the website.
That said, I have discussed with some senior members on our plan to secure a full gym, this is not part of the subject, I will discuss that later.
Right now, I am in need of members to fill the rank, so please, join in, that way if you don't like the pictures i put up, you can scan yours and add it in.. :-)
